Honorary Pet

This is Blue. She is the sister of the Cockatiel that we used to have and she belongs to our friends Brenda and John. We are lucky to get to look after her every now and then and we love to have her. She comes out for a fly around whenever the Dogs are out and will sit on your shoulder and pull your hair.
Favourite things - shelled nuts and trying to bite your fingers.

This is Meaty. He is a Roccoco Toad which is a lot like a Cane Toad. I think he is from S. America, and we rescued him from a centre in Southend. because he reacts to movement he follows you when you walk past his viv and will look in your direction when you enter the room. We also have 2 Whites Tree frogs, a Fire Bellied Toad and 2 other rescue frogs. It Doesn't pay to work in a Vets, you end up with all sorts!!
Meaty's favourite things - worms.

These are our Tortoises. They are called Mr 4, Sherman, Bill, Paddy and Little Mo. Unfortunately we have lost Little Mo since this photo was taken.
They are approx. 5 years old and we have known them since they were eggs!
They are very tame and come plodding over when they see you. Believe it or not they all have different characters and I am much fonder of them than I thought possible.
Favourite things - a tickle under the chin and strawberries.
This is Sarah the Labrador. She's a bit dim, but lovely. She's 11 years old and another rescue dog.
She is a loving, beautiful girl but unfortunately she has issues with other dogs (except Geoff) so is not so much fun to take out. She has been to training and behaviour classes and is better than when we first had her, she even has a pack of doggie friends that she is ok with as long as they don't get too friendly!
Favourite things? Taking over the bed first thing in the morning. Cuddles with her Dad.

Meet The Gang

This is Geoff. He's a rescue Collie X Labrador and a bit of a Geezer! We aren't sure of his age but guess at 12-13 years. On walks he is the perfect dog. He loves everyone and all other dogs. The only problem is he is a bit deaf now so when he decides he would prefer to join another group of people and dogs he's not so easy to get back. He has a bad back and high blood pressure for which he is having medication. His favourite things include shredding loo roll inners and drinking the last few drips from your bottle of beer.
He has us perfectly trained!
